it's been a year....

hey there friends...

i'm not even sure how many of you still check up on me every once in a while...but hello.

i'm back.

it's been a year, and so much in my life has changed. i figure it's time for an update...of sorts...


so let's look at it this way.

where i was august 29th 2008:
location: omaha, nebraska.
dwelling: parent's basement.
occupation: musician-performer/lesson giver

where i am august 29th 2009:
location: minneapolis, MN
dwelling: my own fabulous apartment.
occupation: full-time at the container store

since i moved to minneapolis, about a year ago, a lot has changed for me. due to life...and such...i had to give up the "full-time musician" label for a "full-time merchandiser" one. (which oddly enough...i'm finding i really enjoy.)

but the time has come...and it's probably overdue...but music starting a faster trot in my life...and i'm grabbing the reigns and taking off.

so, here's what i can tell you for now.

-there will be more shows
-there will be more music
-there will be more songs
-there will be more learning
-there will be excitement
-there will be adventure
-there will be disappointment
-there will be satisfaction
-there will be growing
-there will be changing


i'm so excited to embark on this next chapter.
